Frequently Asked Questions

Our answer would depend on the stairlift type, age and condition. If you have a relatively new second hand stairlift in an excellent condition you may be able to achieve £200-500. If your stairlift is 5 years old and has general wear and tear it could be £50-150. Contact us for a no obligation quote and we will provide an accurate figure.
If the power supply is cut off the batteries will have run flat. Unfortunately, the batteries cannot be recharged but our engineer can bring a replacement battery to power the stairlift up for the removal. A flat battery would not affect our offer, but please let us know so we can advise our engineer in advance.

Our engineer will always make the agreed payment in cash before he loads the stairlift into his van to be taken away. Cash payment gives you the peace of mind that you have been paid the correct sum and do not have to wait and chase a payment later.

If it is preferred, we can arrange payment by bank transfer as an alternative method. Our engineer would contact our office after he has successfully removed the stairlift, and payment would be made.
