Customer Stories in Preston
Not only do we cover Stairlift Removals in Preston, but the whole of Lancashire. We often get to surrounding areas like Chorley, Blackburn, Blackpool, Southport, Burnley, Bolton and Wigan.
We were contacted by a housing association in Preston regarding a stairlift in one of their properties. The stairlift was fitted by the council on a disability grant but as the tenant had passed away it became the associations responsibility. They said as they were on a tight schedule to get the property cleared and ready for the next tenant, they preferred us to remove it for them.
They sent us some photographs to confirm the make, model, and condition of the stairlift and then we were able to make an offer and arrange an appointment. Within a week we attended and removed the stairlift safely saving the company precious time and resources.

Our removal specialist visited Fulwood in Preston to complete the removal of a Thyssenkrupp Flow 2a stairlift which was no longer needed. Mr Gray had been disappointed with the low quotes he had received from other companies but said our customer advisors had explained the valuation to him in a friendly and straight forward manner, and we had also offered the best price.
The customer said he was very happy with our removal and customer service and that he would recommend us to anyone. He said it was nice to deal with an honest and reliable company, and he was happy to see that we did not try to ‘knock down’ the price on arrival like other ‘We Buy Any’ companies tend to do.

We attended a care home in Ingol, Preston to remove a very old stairlift which had become outdated. The stairlift was easily 14 years old, if not older, and was no longer safe to use and in line with the requirements of the users. We explained from the initial quote the stairlift was too old to recycle the parts, but we were able to remove and dispose of the stairlift for them for a fee that was cheaper than the original installer.
Our friendly engineer removed the stairlift carefully and was mindful not to leave any mess that could affect the residents. The care home management team were very happy with the service and were able to arrange for a new survey and installation of a new modern stairlift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Within one week. If we have any availability sooner, we will advise you and we would always try to fit you in within the timescale required.
As our website name implies, we aim to buy any stairlift. There are of course times where this isn’t possible such as the stairlift is too old or in too poor condition to be recycled. If we cannot buy your stairlift we will offer free removal where possible or quote a charged removal and disposal service.
Technically yes, but we highly advise against it. Although we can appreciate you may no longer need the stairlift and want to save it for future use, it will likely become too old and not suitable for your mobility needs at a later time. It is likely the stairlift will then have to be disposed of where it could have been recycled.
