We were contacted by a housing association in Preston regarding a stairlift in one of their properties. The stairlift was fitted by the council on a disability grant but as the tenant had passed away it became the associations responsibility. They said as they were on a tight schedule to get the property cleared and ready for the next tenant, they preferred us to remove it for them.

They sent us some photographs to confirm the make, model, and condition of the stairlift and then we were able to make an offer and arrange an appointment. Within a week we attended and removed the stairlift safely saving the company precious time and resources.

We attended a care home in Ingol, Preston to remove a very old stairlift which had become outdated. The stairlift was easily 14 years old, if not older, and was no longer safe to use and in line with the requirements of the users. We explained from the initial quote the stairlift was too old to recycle the parts, but we were able to remove and dispose of the stairlift for them for a fee that was cheaper than the original installer.
