Stairlift Removals Birmingham

In January we went out to a stairlift removal appointment just off from Selly Oak Park in Birmingham. The park had a beautiful frosty coating like the front of a Christmas Card, but the cold weather wasn’t enough to stop our engineer from cracking on! Mrs Stockwell greeted him with a nice hot cuppa and even a homemade biscuit – we really do have the best customers.

Mrs Stockwell had sadly lost her husband a few years ago and decided it was time to have the unwanted stairlift removed as she did not need it herself. When the removal was completed, she called our office to praise our engineers caring and helpful attitude; informing us that he had left the stairs looking as good as new!

This time we got to visit the bustling Birmingham City Centre to attend a stairlift removal. Our engineer Matt passed the lovely Sunset Park and Moonlit Park, the infamous Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre and O2 Academy Birmingham while locating the property. Parking can be tricky with central jobs like these, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. Matt found a spot to park and got to his job on time.

Our customer was very surprised to get her unwanted stairlift removed for free, which had been left behind by the last property owner. Not only was she able to get the stairlift collected within a week of moving in, but she received some money too. She said it was such a big help so they could get on with redecorating and enjoy their new home!

Our engineer Paul attended an urgent removal job in Little Bromwich, Birmingham for our customer Mr Khan. He had an old stairlift which unfortunately was beyond recycling and did not work, but we were able to quote him for our charged removal and disposal services which he happily accepted.

Paul carefully removed the stairlift and dismantled it, disconnected the electrics safely, and took all the parts away for disposal. Mr Khan was ecstatic that we were able to come out so quickly. He had a relative staying at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital just a few minutes away and had to get the property ready for their safe return. Our removal service gave them the space they needed to get up and down the stairs and the potential to fit a brand-new working stairlift if required.
